Supportive, structured pregnancy monitoring from your first visit through to birth preparation, so you always know how you and your baby are doing.
Your first visit
We register your file, take a full history, do a head-to-toe physical examination and draw blood to screen for infections and determine your blood type. You leave with a maternity record and pregnancy supplements.
Routine visits
Blood pressure, urine testing, weight, fundal height, foetal heart rate and movement checks, along with ultrasound scans at the appropriate stages of your pregnancy.
Preparing for birth
Birth plan discussion, danger-sign education, labour signs, breastfeeding preparation and guidance on when to go to hospital.
Good to know
- Bring your ID for file registration
- Bring the main member's medical aid details if applicable
- Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to take off and back on
